I was born in 1984 in a small village called Evander in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
During my primary school years we stayed in Nigel - a small town that once produced
the largest amounts of gold on the East Rand.
I've started my High School years in the Western Cape. In 2002 I matriculated at Duineveld High School in Upington, Northen Cape.
After school my love for the Western Cape lead me back to Stellenbosch where I studied winemaking (BSc Agric Viticulture and Oenology) and finished my Masters Degree in 2009.
After my studies I went to work in France where me and my Fiancé (Mieder Uys), from
South Africa, got married in a small village, Chablis in the area of Burgundy.
Back in SA I became a photographer and also started my greeting card collection based on my art and photography in 2010.
In 2013 we became the proud parents of twin girls.
With my mother a great artist her self I grew up painting and drawing watching her.
I've experimented with a lot of mediums through the years and enjoy acrylic on
canvas most. I would like to share with you the outcome of a lot of inspiration through everything that matters to me . . celebrating life in detail!
“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
